We had the most amazing time and would highly recommend going on the tour with Torpedo! The crew was amazing (including the dog) and extremely knowledgeable. We saw a ton of manta rays and some dolphins on the trip there. I would recommend a wet suit to be comfortable the whole time. If your questioning it, just do it. You will not regret it.

The day dives were fantastic with sharks and lava tubes and the Manta dive was mind blowing! Our dive guide gave us a thorough dive briefing and went out of his way to make sure we had a good time. Besides all the manta rays we saw he even took extra time to show us eels hunting trevallies. He checked my air gauge constantly and had the whole group do a long safety stop. I felt completely safe on a wonderful night dive the whole time. The whole crew had positive energy and treated everyone on board like family. Highly recommend this company and especially the Manta night dive!
– Tripadvisor, FirstDivingTorpedo Tours took us out for an unforgettable snorkel/fishing cruise along the Kailua-Kona coast. We snorkeled with Captain Rachel, who has a marine science background. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the geology of the island and the various species of reef fish we saw, including a white tip reef shark, eels, and bottle nose dolphins. Though we didn’t catch any fish that day, we were so fortunate to happen upon a group of about 75 hammerhead shark that were schooling in their yearly mating ritual, a very rare event to witness. We all jumped in the water see these gentle giants up close and Captain Taylor expertly moved the boat to keep the snorkelers in perfect position with the sharks. Absolute highlight of our trip too the big island.
